Seaview

The view from my window is stunning.
The rocks, and the cliffs, and the bay.
The waves breaking, breaking, re-breaking.
I could sit here and look out all day.

At night (are there) when the moon’s (sea sprites) casting shadows (and selkies)
And the seagulls (that play) have stopped (in the waters) their song (at night)
And the beach looks so strange and deserted,
(Sometimes I hear them calling)
I could sit here and stare all day long.

Eventually I see the lanterns,
Guiding the ships to their doom.
I hear a crash, watch them shatter,
Gazing out from the window of my room.

The view from my window is stunning.
The rocks, and the cliffs, and the lights.
The ships breaking, breaking, re-breaking.
I could sit here and look out all night.
